Training of all Teachers / non-teaching Staff on INCLUSION

Vision Divyang Foundation is serving the field of Disability Rehabilitation and working towards promoting INCLUSION in the country. It has undertaken projects in the areas of Education, Training, Rehabilitation, Special Schools, Vocational training, Research & Publication, promoting products & services of Persons with Disabilities, Advocacy, support in policy formulation among others. The Vision group has worked with prestigious organizations such as UNESCO, NCERT, CBSE, SCERT, IGNOU, JMI, NIOS, GNCTD – DSW, DOE, DHFW, DEPWD-MSJE Government of India, ISLRTC, RCI, NIEPVD, NIEPMD, AYJNIHH, NIEPID, NDFDC, Government of Haryana, Red Cross Society, Rotary International, ONGC among others.

The National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 treats Equity and Inclusion as the core of its vision. The Rights of Persons with Disabilities (RPWD) Act 2016 promotes inclusion by establishing a rights-based legal framework that enforces equality, accessibility, and equal opportunity across all aspects of public life. The Hon'ble Supreme Court of India in Rajneesh Kumar Pandey versus Union of India has also mandated that “The other teachers and staff in the general schools be given compulsory training and sensitized to handle the CwSN in the general schools, if admitted”.

In order to provide standardized training on Disability INCLUSION; Vision Divyang Foundation has rolled out an “Orientation Programme in Inclusion" –Level One of five hours initially. This programme has been adopted / recognised by the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI), Government of India.
